• This review is long overdue. Mariner Dock & Seawall installed a new dock and elevator lift at my house in Nokomis about 2.5 years ago. The crew did a fantastic job on both the dock and lift. I have had no issues. A neighbor used another contractor about a year prior and already had to replace his lift due to excessive electrolysis. This was due to an improper electrical install. I have had none of those problems. Even my decking still looks new whereas my neighbor’s decking has faded and looks 20 years old. Jesus was extremely responsive during the entire process. So much so I will say he is the most responsive contractor I have ever worked with. He is always open to listening to your ideas or concerns throughout the entire process. I would not hesitate to use Mariner again.

• We were fortunate to be referred to Mariner Dock and Seawall for a patio issue that was becoming a real headache the last few years. Finding a firm that kept their word, showed up, and that we felt comfortable with was difficult. In the meantime, the patio including our steps continued to deteriorate. From our very first meeting, everyone including office administrator, Erin, was very professional. Scott, an owner, arrived to assess the situation and soon thereafter our project was scheduled. The construction crew was onsite every day, first thing in the morning, and worked diligently all day. Regular inspections by management were made. On the last day of work, Scott made a visit to our home to make a final inspection and even sent a crew in the next day to complete some fine details so that this project would be perfect. We are grateful for the integrity, work ethic, and excellent workmanship of this firm. I worked in the architectural/engineering field my entire career, and my father and my husband's father were building contractors, so our standards are high. Mariner did not disappoint at all. Our new deck (which used to be a crumbling patio) is beautiful, without flaw, and everyone who has seen it is very impressed, especially our neighbors. We are extremely happy with the outcome, even beyond our expectations. Of course, pictures are worth a thousand words, so I have attached before and after photos.

• Honest and reliable company to work with. Jesus was always very responsive and kept to his word on deliverables and getting the Job done. We had a more complex and challenging job installing an elevator lift at an unconventional site on Anna Maria north island. The engineering plans were not accurate enough and plans and pilings had to be complete repositioned. Then the lift that was initiallly installed at the undesired/wrong location had to be repositioned/reinstalled to get it just right. Mariner staff patiently worked with me through the process to get it all fully dialed in. A long process along with a new house construction worked on emotions and hard calls, but Mariner stuck with it to get a fabulous looking new dock and lift in place. Be sure to keep communications open and checking expectations and end results and you will be well served with Mariner.

• Just had a 10k lift put in to replace my 30+ year old unit. Got fast quote and within weeks had them removing old lift and replacing it with new. They were able to use my remote control unit and within days new lift was installed. I reached out to a few lift companies and most did not get back to me or never followed up. • Great people to deal with. I called three other companies and nobody could get out to look at my broken lift for two weeks. Brian was at my house the next morning just after the sun came up to assess the situation. Within minutes he said, "we can get this lift out of the water, let me get my wetsuit". 15 minutes later my lift was out of the salt water ... • A new company, but years of experience make this a no brainer for anything dock, lift and sea wall related. They’re owner operated, extremely knowledgeable and ready for the big difference... Responsive! I had a lift installed by a different company, found Scotty and his team - and they swept up after the original installer. I have used them for dock work, cradle work, cable work, limit switch and remote installation, new bunks - my lift and dock is so awesome thank to these guys. Wish I would’ve used them to begin with.
