A boat lift is the piece of equipment on your property most likely to fail expensively, because it is the only one carrying tens of thousands of dollars of load through moving parts in salt air. Cables stretch. Bunks rot from underneath while the carpet still looks fine. Motors get damp. None of it happens suddenly — it happens over two seasons, in plain sight, to people who were not looking.
We install ShoreStation and other quality lifts, size them properly, wire them under our own electrical license, and then keep an eye on them. The electrical matters more than most people expect: improper installs cause electrolysis that eats hardware from the inside, and it is the single most common reason a lift built by somebody else lands on our repair list.

What size boat lift do I need?
It depends on your vessel's weight, length, beam and how you use it. We recommend a capacity at least 20–25% above the boat's fully loaded weight — fuel, water, gear and everything else you actually keep aboard. Our specialists also evaluate water depth, dock configuration and tide variations before recommending a lift.
How long does boat lift installation take?
Standard installations take 1–3 days depending on the model, dock structure and site conditions. Jobs that need new pilings, electrical work or special permitting take longer, and we tell you that up front rather than partway through.
How do I know if I need to repair or replace my boat lift?
Watch for slower lifting speeds, unusual noises, cable deterioration, visible corrosion or uneven lifting. Saltwater, humidity and UV accelerate wear. A professional assessment tells you whether a repair or an upgrade makes more sense — and regular inspections catch these problems while they are still a line item rather than a haul-out.
