Mariner Dock & Seawall

Our warranty

We stand behind the work in writing.

Every component we install carries its manufacturer's warranty, and Mariner adds a one-year labor warranty on top of it. You get both, on paper, at the walkthrough.

A warranty is only worth what the company behind it is worth. Plenty of contractors in Florida offer one and then stop answering the phone — which is the single most common complaint our own customers describe about the people they hired before us.

So the warranty matters, but so does this: we have been here since 2019, we are family-owned and locally operated, and the two people who quote your job are the two people who will pick up when you call about it.

What you receive at handover

Questions

How the warranty works.

What exactly does the labor warranty cover?

Our workmanship on the structure we built or repaired, for one year from completion. If something we installed fails because of how it was installed, we come back and put it right at no cost to you.

What does the manufacturer warranty cover?

The components themselves — lift motors, drives, cables, decking, panel systems and hardware. Terms vary by manufacturer, and we give you the paperwork for each one at handover so you have it in writing rather than having to ask us later.

Does the warranty transfer if I sell the house?

Transfer terms vary by manufacturer and component. Review the warranty paperwork supplied for your project, and contact us before a sale so we can confirm what applies. Any transfer of Mariner's labor warranty must be confirmed in writing.

What if something goes wrong after the first year?

Call us anyway. Manufacturer coverage often runs longer than our labor warranty, and if it is something we did we would rather know. Call or text (941) 751-3625.

Do I need to do anything to keep the warranty valid?

Reasonable maintenance — the same things that keep a structure sound in salt water. Regular inspection catches wear before it becomes damage, which is much of what the VIP Service Club is for.

Keeping a structure covered is largely about catching wear early — the VIP Service Club exists for exactly that.

Something not right with work we did?

Call or text (941) 751-3625. We would rather hear about it than not.
