Assessing real damage

After a storm, the visible damage and the actual damage are different things. Surge moves soil out from behind a wall that still looks straight, and the settlement shows up weeks later. Impact from a vessel or debris can crack a panel below the waterline where nothing is obvious from the lawn.

We inspect the visible damage and prepare a repair or replacement estimate. Ask what photographs, measurements or supporting documents can be provided for the specific assessment.

Repair or replacement

Where enough of the wall is sound, damaged sections can be rebuilt into the existing run and tied back properly. Where the structure has lost too much, a partial or full replacement is the honest answer and we will show you why.

  • Section replacement tied into the existing wall
  • Void grouting and soil restoration behind the wall
  • Tieback, deadman and whaler replacement
  • Cap rebuild
  • Full replacement with old structure removal
